Page 1Munch, went the caterpillar on a leaf. It ate and ate and ate. It grew fatter and longer. It was always hungry. Always eating.
Page 2The caterpillar grew too big for its skin. So it split its skin and crawled out. A new skin was underneath. Soft and stretchy. Now it had room to grow. It ate some more.
Page 3Something was changing. The caterpillar stopped eating. It was time. Time for something new.
