Page 1Once upon a time, there was a boy named Tom. Tom lived in a small village. The village had many sheep, and everyone loved them. If the sheep were ever in danger, the villagers would rush to help.

Page 2Tom liked playing tricks on people. One day, he ran to the village and shouted, "Wolf! Wolf! Come save the sheep!" All the villagers came running with sticks to fight the wolf. But there was no wolf. Tom laughed and said, "Maybe the wolf had gone that way,"

Page 3The villagers shook their heads and walked away. The next day, Tom played the same trick. He shouted even louder, "Wolf! Wolf! The wolf is going to eat the sheep!" Again, the villagers came running. And again, there was no wolf. Tom laughed and laughed.
