Page 1Look up! Way, way up in the sky — past the clouds, past the birds, past the airplanes — there is a very special home. It floats in space and zooms around our Earth. Can you guess who lives there?
Page 2This flying home is called the International Space Station. That is a very big name, so most people just call it the "ISS." A space station is a place where people can live and work high up in space.
Page 3The space station lives very, very high up — about 250 miles above the ground. That is much higher than airplanes fly. It is even higher than the tallest, tallest mountain in the whole world!
